WELCOME !

Welcome friends, old and new, known and unknown! It has been my desire to share with you how the Lord is working in my life as I serve the Lord on the mission field of Kabwe, Zambia. There is an old black and white movie called The African Queen. It is about a boat that travels down river. This blog is not about a boat. It is however, about my travels on the mission field of Kabwe, Zambia. By the way, did you know that my name means queen. For many years I have been burdened for souls in Africa. That is why some of my friends call me African Queen.

Travel Journal: Days #4-10

June 12-18, 2010
Missions' Institute
This week has been a blessing and a time of testing. My hostess, Nyletta Mosher and her family were a great blessing to me. They certainly were wonderful examples of Christlikeness. I have learned so much from thier relationship with the Lord.
The classes during the week were helpful to me during deputation. The best thing about the mission institute was meeting other missionaries preparing for the field and some veteran missionaries. I was able to learn alot about the mission field and deputation from all of the time I spent with my new friends. If any of you are reading this - THANK YOU for being willing to share with me!
